"If we are to have a good environment in the future we must all make changes in our lifestyles. Those changes will take place as we make choices about how we travel, buy things, dispose of our wast and manage where we live, work and relax. FEE - the Foundation for Environmental Education, aims to promote and encourage these lifestyle changes. Green-Schools is the ideal mechanism to do this in schools. It builds on the natural enthusiasm of children for environmental issues, developing a mature and responsible attitude to the envirnonment and a commitment to practical action." Professor Graham Ashworth CBE DL President - FEE the Foundation for Environmental Education. |

We are starting a project of re-cycling in the school. A committee of pupils, teachers, parents and other school employees has been formed to set up the project. Initially this committee will conduct an audit of our school environment and from this review we will put a recycling action in place.
This project will be linked with the pupils' home environment. We hope to make the pupils more aware of the necessity to re-cycle at home and in school.
Below are some ways in which you can help initially.
1. We would ask all children to take their lunch waste home with them in their lunch boxes.
Please also let us know if you are interested in becoming involved as the project develops.
